Applications for the 2017 31st Annual California Festival of Beers are available for Merchandise Vendors only. We are no longer accepting applications for Food Vendors.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the California Festival of Beers.  We are accepting merchandise vendor applications online using the following form.  Merchadise vendor opportunities are for the California Festival of Beers Grand Tasting on Saturday May 27, 2017 from 10:30 am to 5 pm, at Madonna Meadows.  Expected attendance is 3,000 guests.

Vendor Fees

The entry form below is just an application to be considered as a Califorina Festival of Beers Vendor. If you are approved a Festival representative will notify you of your acceptance and will collect payment at that time.

Upon approval an entry fee of $300.00 is required to secure your space and participation in the California Festival of Beers Grand Tasting.

Vendor Fee includes:

  • Two Grand Tasting tickets
  • Complimentary Parking in vendor area
  • One table
  • Two chairs
  • Listing and hotlink on Event Website

Vendors must supply:

  • 10’ x 10’ pop up tent if desired. (Must meet Cal Fire regulations - click here for more information)
  • A certificate of insurance naming: Hospice of San Luis Obispo County, Madonna Inn Inc., Madonna Properties as additionally insured.
  • Entry fee upon management approval.
  • Copy of your current active resale permit.
About Your Business
For use on the day of the event.
If a vehicle is required at the event please explain and give its dimensions.
Please provide a brief description of product or service to be exhibited. Food Vendors should also provide a menu of what you would like to sell and at what prices. Please also specify what you are bringing the day of the event for for set up.
Representatives
Please list the name(s) of those representing your business at the California Festival of Beers. 2 MAXIMUM PLEASE. An event ticket will be required for any staff exceeding the maximum of 2 representatives. All representatives must be 21 years of age or older and must provide a valid photo ID when checking in.
Release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement

The undersigned, desiring to enter and participate as a vendor in the 31st Annual California Festival of Beers does hereby tender his/her application to participate.  If the selection committee accepts the applicant vendor, the undersigned agrees to:

Release and hold harmless Hospice of San Luis Obispo County, Madonna Inn Inc., Madonna Properties, and the California Festival of Beers and any other participating organizers, sponsors, their officers, directors, employees and/or other members and volunteers from any and all liability arising out of said event.

Accept all risks inherent in the event and hereby agrees to release the above entities from any loss or damage arising out of said event.

Abide by the Guidelines under which said event will be run.

Acknowledge that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law in the State of California

Participant Rules
  • Once a vendor receives confirmation of approval NO refunds will be given.
  • Applications must be submitted before or by Friday, April 21, 2017, for consideration.
  • All vendors must be setup prior to 10am for Fire Marshall inspection. Vendors will not be allowed to enter after that time. The Madonna Inn Meadows will be available for setup starting at 7:30am Saturday, May 27th, 2017.
  • You must check in on time and keep your booth open for the entire Grand Tasting Event (11am - 5:00pm).
  • You must possess a current California State Seller's Permit Number and Resale Certificate.
  • As a seller, you are required to report and pay the applicable taxes for your taxable sales.
  • You may sell only the type of items specified and approved in your application. Stickers and unauthorized Festival merchandise will not be allowed.
  • You may not use a microphone, radio, or sound device at any booth without prior approval from Festival organizers.
  • The Festival will be held rain or shine. NO refunds will be given.
  • Only one vendor may occupy booth space unless you have discussed and approved additional vendors with the Festival organizers.
  • The California Festival of Beers and its organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Food vendors are required to complete and submit all necessary forms per the SLO County's Health Department.
  • Vendor representatives must be 21 years of age or older and provide a valid photo ID when checking-in.
  • I understand only 2 vendor representatives are permitted and additional staff will be required to purchase an event ticket.
